Eaten very tasty. Great service. Definitely going back to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the operators of the restaurant have to close again due to Corona, although a lot has been done in the restaurants to contain the pandemic. We felt safer in terms of the pandemic in this restaurant than in any supermarket. We hope to be able to visit this restaurant again soon, also with hygiene rules.

Very nice inn, very courteous service, the senior boss also takes great care of the guests and asks if everything is okay, very great, thanks for the nice evening with food and drinks. We'd love to come back.

If you want to experience the quaint German hotel charm and exceptionally delicious German food, this is the right place for you. We really enjoyed the days at the Hotel Löwen and we didn't miss anything. The hotel is centrally located and a lot is within walking distance (ferry, castle, thermal baths, etc.). The rooms were very clean and cleaned every day. On request, there were fresh towels every day, freshly made beds and a loving bedtime story. Especially worth mentioning (again) is the delicious, rich breakfast, the excellent dinner and the always friendly courteous service. Even the host personally greets his guests in the mornings and evenings with a friendly, warm hello. We would love to come back!

We ate here and the variety and food were good but when we wanted to go the second time, this time without a reservation, we were canceled but the group of four behind us got the free table. Yes, we didn't have a reservation, but we didn't find it particularly hospitable to give subsequent guests a table because there were four of us and there were only two of us. Perhaps you don't necessarily have to do this within earshot of the guests you turned away shortly before.

Not really worth a star! My wife and I were simply ignored. That simply does not work. We'll ignore this place too!

Had 3x suckling pig with dumplings and spaetzle in beer break with a side salad. . Food was delicious but the suckling pig was very dry. With 3 beers we had to pay 74 €. It was too expensive for us to be hungry. Service went. We had to wait 45 minutes for the food. Menu contained a lot of good drinks / wines and juices. The range of food was sufficient. Small but nice.

Seldom eaten so bad. One dish was completely spicy. The roast suckling pig was not something you would voluntarily order again. The dumplings were okay, but for the price you might expect something more than 'okay'. It also smelled increasingly unpleasant. Addendum: Not only did the food not taste good, three of the four of us had quite a stomachache afterwards.

The staff was very friendly and thought with us. We were five people with two children. The children's portion was huge. There was something left for the other guests. 😊 The other portions were also very large and everything tasted very good. We couldn't eat outside due to the large number of guests. In the end, that wasn't bad at all. Inside it is pleasantly cool and free of wasps. The rooms are great too. We are looking forward to breakfast tomorrow.

Waited well over an hour for the food even though it wasn't busy. The medium ordered steaks were cold and almost through. The waitress can only think of an outrageous saying.

We were only in the restaurant, we didn't stay at the hotel. The food is pretty good, there are some nice vegetarian options. Unfortunately, it's very expensive. The location is ok too.

We went for a walk through the old town and then had a coffee break there. Unfortunately there was no cake. But we decided to eat something. The cheese spaetzle was delicious. Only the waiter was a bit slow and moody, but we would still go back

I would love to give no star at all! Terribly rude staff. What annoyed me most was not that we had to wait almost half an hour for our drinks or that we had to repeatedly ask for a glass for the water jug ​​that was forgotten when serving, but that the waitress simply ignored us when we went after her have asked. Only bad! Definitely not going back.

If I could I would give 0 stars. Absolutely rude staff and poor choice, especially when it comes to food. We already had problems finding food on the menu because the menu is overloaded with drinks. The disinfectant just seems to be something strongly alcoholic, it was probably no longer enough for the right one. Absolutely NOT recommendable.

Nice typical hotel of the black forest. Close deal that make you feel at home. Rooms comfortable, clean. Varied and rich breakfast. Central location I would definitely go back

The expectations were high when we were seated at a nicely decorated table for 4, however, the disappointments started immediately: One of the bread plates was clearly used, was exchanged upon request. The white wine glass at the same place was missing, delivered after we ordered a bottle of wine. We had been seated in a room where a private event was held, including a 'musician' playing terrible music. Likely due to the event, the service personnel was not attentiv to our table at all, or simply couldn't handle it, who knows... We all would have been better off if they just had said they were booked instead of squeezing in a table they couldn't handle in a professional manner. The food is best described as standard German 'no frills' cuisine, and the presentation was boring, all in all certainly below expectations for the prices they charge.

Perfect central location. Nice room and furnishing. Good breakfast. Sadly the staff was not really helpful with the parking of the hotel, we ended up parking in a public place nearby, nor answering to our questions.

Nice hotel, excellent location. In the top of Castle Hill (difficult to reach by bike). Good room and bathroom with nice and cute furniture. No lift! Very beautiful building. Nice breakfast. Bad restaurant with very unpleasant people with to many hurry to work in a restaurant.

The hotel has many rooms most are very spacious unfortunately there are also rooms with a very small bathroom. The hotel is under monument protection so it is accordingly old, but nevertheless nice. The service was good, considering that this is next-season and actually nothing more is going on. All in all so very good.

Sat outside, had a good meal, good portion size.
